Description

RELISTED DUE TO TIME WASTER, I'M NOW ONLY TAKING PAYMENT UP FRONT VIA PAYPAL! Welcome to my auction for this 2000 Volvo V70 T5 Estate. This is a 2.3ltr petrol, nice and quick. I bought this in January with the plan to replace my even older 850 with it. However I'm kind of I love with the 850 so I've decided to sell this one instead! The MOT expired in March (the car has been SORN since January). I put it in for an MOT last week and it failed on indicator bulbs (which I've had replaced) and the engine management light being on. For details of recent work and any other advisories see photos. An auto-electrician has plugged into it and the MOT failure seems to be down to a fault in the "Exhaust Side Cam Shaft Variable Timing Electric/Oil Solenoid", whatever that is! According to the garage the part is available from Volvo dealers for £200 odd plus VAT. I'm just looking to move the car on so don't want to chuck any further money at it. The other bad point is water collecting in the passenger side footwell, I think something is blocked around the top of the bonnet area. The alloy wheels are also somewhat tired and there is the odd minor blemish here and there as you would expect on a car of this age. On the plus side she does have a brand new battery, comprehensive service history and drives just fine. The previous owner bought the car from Volvo themselves when it was about 6 months old (it was a demonstrator vehicle of some sort). The car is stored in a large compound so the winning bidder can drive it around. Obviously she has no MOT so needs trailering/towing away. Vehicle is located in Lympsham, just off junction 22 of the M5.
